Hi! I'm Shakti Grissom Tucker from Houston, TX. I'm trying to learn more about my dad's family (Henry Luis Grissom of Houston, TX), the Grissom's from San Angelo, TX and Arkansas. My grandpa was John Lee Grissom from Arkansas. My great grandma (his mom) was Pearl Lee Cooper Grissom from Arkansas. My great grandpa (John Lee's dad) was John Wesley Grissom from Arkansas. My family on the Grissom and Cooper side are all from San Angelo and Arkansas. My great aunt was Coy Grissom but she passed away when my grandpa was a young adult as she was much older than him, along with his other sister I believe. I don't know much about my grandpa John Grissom's family as he passed away in 2001 in Houston, TX and most of his family members has passed. I remember him visiting family in San Angelo every few years for family reunions though so I know he was connected to them and in touch with them up until many of his cousins and aunts and uncles passed. My dad, Henry Grissom is an only child so I'm looking to find out more about his father and possibly his mother, Layda Sanguino from Bolivia's family. My grandparents lives in Venezuela and Colombia in the 1960's- 1985 or so until they came to Houston and both passed their in 2001 and 2014. Any information on my Grissom, Cooper, or Sanguino family tree is much welcomed!

I'm also open to learning more about my mom Beatriz Cajigas Grissom's family. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Gladys Viruet Jovet Cajigas of Puerto Rico and Carlos Llamas Cajigas of Puerto Rico. My grandma Gladys passed away in Houston in April 2022 and my grandpa Carlos passed in San Juan in 1990 and our ancestors on grandmas side were French (viruet & Jovet) & Spanish (cavalin & Cajigas). Some other family names are Hopgood, Jovet, Viruet).
