After I retired, I started volunteering at the Idaho Springs Cemetery in Colorado. My sister-in- law inspired me to volunteer. I have been the volunteer for several years. I organize and decide on what projects need to be accomplish and try to find ways to make them happen all under the approval of the Mayor and City Council. I spend several hours each summer cleaning headstones and weed eating and other cleaning jobs. It is my favorite place to be working and spending my free time. I have put my photos on a website for the Historical Society of Idaho Springs, but I have noticed that more people access Find A Grave for information and I would like to help as many people as possible.
