I grow up in Union County, Arkansas and I spent many of summers in Lapile Township. I have been working on the White and other families that are connect to me since the early 1980's. I have tried to edit when I can. Like the sign for Good Hope Primitive Baptist Cemetery has stood for many years in Union County and not Strong, Union County, Arkansas. The more information is critical to me. Also looking at the census records up to 1940, I think all births prior 1900 should be listed as Lapile Township since Strong did not exist as a town until after 1900.
