My roots in St. Mary's and Charles Counties in Southern Maryland run deep and extend back to the colonial days and some of the first families. I also have ties to the early settlers of Southwestern Virginia. I enjoy researching and "connecting the dots" that link us together and appreciate the role that our cemeteries play in that search. My research partners include my parents and a few other older (not tech savvy) relatives. We are a great team that enjoy finding lost relatives, going to cemeteries, and making sure that our ancestors are remembered.

I try to create memorials and post obituaries for forgotten folks when I come across ones that have clear cemetery information noted. My hope is that doing so will help other researchers find their lost family members. If I have created a memorial for someone that I am not related to, but you are, please just ask and I will gladly transfer it to you.
