Salutations! My name is Vanessa (Chance to my family). I was born in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Central High in San Angelo. I served in the United States Marine Corps from 2000-2013 where I had the most amazing experiences, visiting places like Japan, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, and Iraq.

I have assumed the awesome responsibility of doing the ancestral research on my family. I started small, updating the family I knew with what I knew. Then last year my great-grandmother asked me to research her father's side of the family, and my research exploded. I am far from a professional geneologist, but I absolutely understand the desire to dive down the "rabbit hole" and never come out.In addition to managing the geneology, I am also seeking to manage the Find A Grave memorials for my direct ancestors.

I would love to thank the contributors who have already granted me the honor of managing the work they have created, and I promise that I will build and expand on what you have started only with known and verified source material from within my research.
