I enjoy researching my own family history. When I visit cemeteries (usually in Scotland) looking for my own ancestors, I try to remember to look on this website to find photo requests in case I find them too. Sometimes I am lucky and sometimes not. Unfortunately, many of the headstones in Scottish cemeteries have been subject to the severe elements over the years and centuries and have become eroded or fallen down. And sadly, they are not maintained by any body or so cannot be saved. It is so frustrating to find stones lying face down and you have no idea what the opposite side might reveal!
I'd love you to get in touch if I've uploaded any photo following your request. I am fascinated by your ancestry as well as my own!!
