Bio

CAREER(s): ASID Allied Interior Designer and furniture sales (25 years) / Licensed Realtor (15 years). In my youth, I worked in all areas of farm management on my family's centennial farm.

COMMUNITY: Founder, Grant Twp. Historical Society

COPYRIGHTED: It would be wonderful if people asked permission from a photographer to copy their pictures; at the very least please give a 'photo credit' to the photographer who worked hard at taking the picture you are interested in.

DNA estimates (October, 2023): 91% British Isles (36% English, 33% Scottish and 22% Irish). 9 of my direct ancestors arrived in British Colonial America in 1620 w/ the Mayflower; followed by an est. 125 w/ John Wintrop's Fleet in the 1640's.

EDUCATION: Colorado State University, Fort Collins (90 credit hours) / Dearborn Real Estate School, Albuquerque / New York School of Interior Design (correspondence course)

GENEALOGY: 8/2024 will be my 10 year anniversary of exploring my family's history. Relocating back to my home state in 2019, has been most helpful in researching my Michigan pioneer ancestors.

RELIGION: Protestant, Born-again Christian, 6th generation Methodist (Global Methodist, not United Methodist).

SURNAMES researching (direct ancestors): Baker / Burr / Cronkhite / Edmiston / Ferguson / Granger / Middaugh / O'Connor / Purdon / Radford / Redden / Snider / Sortore / Wixson
