Hello,
I started working on the family trees of my family, Ray, Mikell, Eubanks and Hutto, about 30 years ago. Then my wife's, Hodges, Walker, and Traylor. I am a Florida History buff and have served with the Sumter County Historical Society for several years and researched several Sumter County Florida and led a fight to save the Panasoffkee Cemetery after the county had planned to relocate the graves. During that time I learned more about cemetery law, customs, ground penetrating radar, and research which resulted in a victory for those not able to fight to preserve their final resting place. I have since started family trees on many local families. My years of genealogy research has led me through cemeteries in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.
