Newly retired and bitten by Genealogy bug. I love the mystery and suspense of finding my ancestors in the Czech Republic. Was never much of a history buff, but this whole process is giving me a sense of what life was like in the Austrian-Hungary Empire in the 1800's and why my family chose to emigrate to America. I never knew my mother's parents, and this is a way for me to 'get to know' them. Currently we are also searching the Pittsburgh, PA area for graves.
