Hello, my name is Karen Gismondi. I am born and raised in Rhode Island with my maiden name being Longwill. I came across Find A Grave because I have been looking for my father, William James Longwill. I never knew him, and I was never told much about him. I am guessing he may have been from RI because that is my native state. He was a SSGT in Vietnam and lived from 1952(3)-2005. He had a brother whom I knew as Uncle Eddie who was married for a time and was raising my cousin Little Eddie. I don't want to intrude or cause any upheaval. I have always felt the pain of not knowing where I come from. I just want to understand my roots.
