I was born in Montgomery, Alabama in 1959. When I was six, our family moved to Tallahassee, Florida, where I lived until the age of 17, when I joined the U.S. Marine Corps. I retired from the Marines in 1998 as a Gunnery Sergeant. After retirement, I went to college and Law School at the University of Memphis, and I now have my own law practice in Marion, Arkansas.
