Bio

Marilyn - maiden name Cress
wife of 18 yrs of the late Kamal I. Issa buried in Hicksville, Ohio
wife of 19 yrs & counting of Jack E Coffey
daughter of the late Howard Dale Cress buried in Ligonier, Indiana
niece of Ralph Cress, buried near his brother in Ligonier, Indiana
Granddaughter of Charles R. Cress and wife Fanny (Mcdowell) Cress, both buried in Ligonier, Indiana; as well as granddaughter of Clifford Holden Weeks and Helen Jane (Jackson) Weeks, both buried in Hicksville, Ohio

I am currently engaged in collecting information on our family of Kress/Cress, Weeks, Jackson, Conner & Mcdowells that I can pass on to my own children. We try to preserve the happy memories of their Grandfather Howard Cress, who sparked our scientific interest in knowing how the world worked around us and set a Christian example of remaining ever patient, steadfastly trusting in his Lord, joyful and joking even in the face of adversity and persecution. And they fondly remember their patient Christian GreatGrandfather Clifford Weeks who held them and talked to them when they were small.
We try to keep alive their example, their stories, their faith & kindness, even when others are unkind, their smiles and their words whenever we get together, so they live on forever through these simple little things we pass on to our babies.

Kindly feel free to add me as a friend, especially if you would like links or additions to material or have questions. Am happy to help if I can.
