Bio

Cemeteries are truly meaningful, not because there was death, but because there was LIFE! And I do believe nobody should be forgotten.

I have been working on our family tree, and that's what brought me to this site. I enjoy researching and finding my past ancestors and locating where they are buried. I have had a lot of help with the research to preserve my family's history and have decided to return the favor to help others with their own, if possible. I am not a numbers cruncher on FAG. I am just hoping that my records will help others.

I am always happy to find cousins, no matter how distant.

I thank many of you who have volunteered your time to take pictures of the headstones and created the memorials of my family. I appreciate each and every one of you!

Ancestor Poem

Dear Ancestor,

Your tombstone stands among the rest; neglected and alone
The name and date chiseled out on polished, marbled stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I'd exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats pulse entirely not, our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled one hundred years ago spreads out among the ones you left who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you knew that someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you."
