New to this site and I think it's wonderful! Not only did I put a memorial up for my Mommy but I also found my Son (David Edward Barber) in here as well as other family members! On my Mother's side of the family I come from a long line of Saurs in Oregon, IL who dropped the e when they came over from Germany. My Grandma Cleo Saur had married a Henry Butts from Ladysmith, WI and I have been searching for information about him. My mother was adopted by her uncle Albert Clemens Saur and his wife Bernice D. Saur who later married Henry Mammen. I'm also trying to find where my Grandma Cleo was buried, latter she married a Tate and they both lived in Mount Morris, IL but after Grandpa passed she ended up moving to Florida.

Then there is my Dad's side of the family. My Dad was born in Racine Wisconsin (1942) to a William & Susan Mae (Battle) Heath but was put in foster care when he was 2 yrs old. I know records weren't very well kept back in the day for black people.

If there is any information anyone would like to share please feel free to contact me.
