Greetings and salutations. I'm a young professional doing genealogical research on the side, and trying to track down lost relatives. Findagrave is a valuable resource that does so many great things for the genealogical community.

Paternal names: Harris, Ford, Sinclair/St. Clair, Childress, Flood, Spencer, Baker, Overton, Elliott, Crist, Goodman, Padgett and Wilson. Everyone on my father's side came from central and western VA (and in the case of the Sinclairs/St. Clairs, New York).

Maternal names: Strohkorb, Trillitz von Nordeck zu Rabenau (shortened to just von Nordeck to fit on gravestones usually), Rechenberg, Glasser, Roberts, Hodges, Moody, Cunningham and Shaw. The families with German names moved around in the US a lot before finally settling in southeastern VA and Baltimore, MD. The remaining families were all from around southeastern VA, northeastern NC, and around Mississippi and Gulf Coast areas.
