She is the author of “Forest Hill, Louisiana: A Bloom Town History,” “Haunted Lafayette, Louisiana,” “Exploring Cajun Country: A Historic Tour of Acadiana,” and “Magic’s in the Bag: Creating Spellbinding Gris Gris Bags and Sachets” with Jude Bradley. She also writes Louisiana romances and mysteries under the pen name of Cherie Claire.
