I met Val in the year of 1960-61. We kept in touch for several years and about 1970 I lost contact. I tried but was never successful in locating him. We were both 18 years of age when we met. He came to see me on two different occasions after that. Many, many years later I have adopted and raised two ladies, and in my senior years I work for a Judge. I still remember those wonderful months in 1960-61. I thought that Val might like for me to sponsor a page for his grandmother and mother. He spoke of them often.
