I am searching for information on my mother's family, Wierman or Wireman From Estill and Powell Counties in Kentucky. Also on the Morton family in Powell or Estill Counties, in Ky.
Specific help is needed to find the burial site of my great-great grandfather, Benjamin Wireman or Wierman possible middle initial F. He was a confederate soldier and is in an unmarked grave possibly in the Mountain Springs Cemetery at Furnace, Ky. He also has a brother Jackson Wireman or Wierman who was a Union soldier and is supposedly buried next to or near Benjamin. If anyone can help in determining the location it would be so appreciated. The family would like to be able to put a grave marker there.
