Bio

I am a Texas native, but I have lived in numerous locations as a child and adult. My father was a pipeline re-inforced iron worker. I think of ALL THE PIPELINE HE LAID FROM THE SOUTH TO THE NORTH! He fought in WWII, in FRANKLAUTERN, GR. I am most proud of my father, and I know He loved his 4 children very much. He lived through the WAR, only to die young at 45 yrs. of age. We all have a story to tell about our lives. I enjoyed being in the Medical Field for 20 years. My desire to help others began at an early age of 10 yrs old. When my maternal Grandfather, Dallas Franklin Wood, was dying of Lung Ca, my 'Mama Bessie' would lead me by the hand and say, "your granddaddy needs a shave'. I was happy to do it, and I can still remember the smell of his whiskers :) my grandmother took me to church when I visited with her, & we went back for the SUNDAY AFTERNOON SINGING with handheld fans in our hands as we sang the GOSPEL HYMNS. Granddaddy was a farmer by day, and a Methodist preacher during the years of his marriage. I'm not sure how long or where, but living for God, planting seeds, and giving God the Glory blessed my ancestors with large families, strength and honor. I enjoy genealogy and am Grateful & Thankful to my cousin, Dennis Deel who created HIS FIND-A-GRAVE TRIBUTES TO OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND SPECIAL PEOPLE. My family (our families) instilled in us the IMPORTANCE of family! We are born, we live, we LEARN; and we bury our loved ones, but we remain constant in our JOY, LOVE AND FAITH! Bio update 11/22/14.
