Further Info from Vera:
William H Bird's daughter Emma Elizabeth Byrd married William S. Stone. William and Emma's Graves are in Walnut Grove Methodist Church Cem. William was a brother to Thomas E. Stone ( my Great Grandfather....buried in Byrd Cem. I am not certain but if William H. Bird had a daughter Mary L. Then I think she married another of Thomas Stone's brothers....Walter Lee Stone. She must have died at a young age. Walter Stone later moved to Walker County AL. and remarried.
Another connection: A son of William H. Bird, Thomas Henry Bird married Victoria Elizabeth Wells. Victoria was a sister to Thomas E. Stone's wife, Nancy Rebecca Wells (my Great Grandmother ) and wife of Thomas E. Stone.
My G. Grandmother Stone moved to Blount county AL after
Thomas ' s death with her 4 children. Their descendants remain in the area today.
Thomas H. Bird and Victoria moved to Ebenezer, Cullman AL.
