Norman Edwin Ardis Sr, husband of Elizabeth Davis Ardis, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at a local nursing facility.

Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Abraham LeGrand Ardis and Annie Lewis Ardis. He was preceded in death by two brothers and an infant son.

Funeral services were held in the chapel of Elmore-Hill-McCreight Funeral Home with Dr. James Chandler, Pastor of Grace Baptiat Church, officiating.
