After a four-year fight against Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer.S/o Mildred and Mark Hatfield. Roger retired from Cessna Aircraft Co. after 30 years, and was a life-long aviation and space enthusiast. Roger belonged to the Lions Club, Kiwanis and the Wichita Area Garden Railways Club, as well as volunteering for various charities, including Belle Plaine Middle School reading program. In 2004, Roger received the Belle Plaine Quality Citizen Award. He was preceded in death by one brother, John.
