Myrtle Theresa Gatch, of Charleston, died October 16, 2012.

Myrtle was born in Charleston on November 1, 1925, a daughter of Joseph Durant and Mary Lucia Tavel Gatch.

She graduated from St. Paul's High School and attended Rice and Stokes Business Colleges.

Myrtle was a lifetime member of the Carolina Chapter #25, member of the Hugenot Society of Charleston and a long time member of Adams Run Baptist Church.

She was very devoted to her family and will be greatly missed.

Myrtle is survived by her sisters, Thelma L. Muckenfuss and Betty L. Inabinett; brothers, James N. Gatch, Al J. Gatch and Herbert D. Gatch, as well as several nieces, nephews grand nieces and grand nephews.

The relatives and friends of Myrtle Theresa Gatch are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, October 19, 2012, at Adams Run Baptist Church. Burial will be in Christ Episcopal Churchyard, Adams Run.
