Upon the receipt of the telegram, his son Walter H. Peck, left at once for Akron to have the remains brought to this city.
Mr. Peck who moved to Norwalk about eight years ago from Berlin Heights, was a former businessman of this city, being engaged in the hardware trade in the firm of Butt & Peck. a few years ago he went out of business in Norwalk and about two years ago he went to Akron where was assistant superintendent of the Prudential Insurance Co.
He was born in Florence, Erie Country, September 7th, 1851, on the old Barnum Peck homestead, where his aged father, E. Barnum Peck, now resides with his two sons William and George.
Besides his wife and son Walter of this city and his father and two brothers above mentioned he has two others brothers living, Charles Peck, of Rochester, NY and J R Peck, a prominent resident of Toledo, Ohio. One sister died a few years ago.
The funeral will be held this Friday afternoon at half past one o'clock from the house on Mannahan avenue, interment at Woodlawn. - Huron County News.
