Mrs. Beck was born March 8, 1924, in York New Salem, to the late John and Cora (Lau) Lehr.
Mrs. Beck was a homemaker. A member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ in York New Salem, she had been a resident of DuBois since 1990, and attended First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, Frederick Beck and his wife, Joyce of DuBois; two grandchildren, Eric Beck and Andrea Beck-DePue, both of DuBois; and two great-grandsons, Andrew Beck and Aaron DePue, both of DuBois. Mrs. Beck was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by six half-brothers and four half-sisters. Visitations will be held Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc., 142 W. Long Ave., DuBois; and Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services at St. Jacob's Church of Christ, York New Salem. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Dennis Weidler officiating. Burial will follow in St. Jacob's Cemetery, York New Salem.
