He married Edna Lynn June 4, 1956 in Girard, Texas. They had three sons. Virgil was employed by Central Texas Iron Works until his retirement. He was a welder by profession.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ruth Fulfer Kidd, a nephew, Chris Kidd, several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He is survived by his wife, Edna of the home, three sons Ricky, Dean, Randy and wife Tammy, and his precious grandchildren who were the light of his life, Dalyce, Jarrett, Brooklynn, London and Aspen. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
