ABATE Betty Abate, 57, passed away June 30, 2004 at her home in Jacksonville, FL. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and First Coast Christian Center, 2724 New Berlin Rd., where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 6, 2004 with Pastor Perry Fruscella officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens with Mrs. Abate being laid to rest beside her husband Lou who died in August of 2003. Survivors include her sons, Donnie Clark (Bonnie) and Sam Abate (Mary); daughter, Connie; sisters, Mary Graham, Barbara Bazzle, and Gail Scott; 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Monday, July 5, 2004 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS CHAPEL HILLS FUNERAL HOME, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd.
