From the Fort Worth Record-Telegram, Monday, September 20, 1926, p. 2:

After being confined to her bed for more than a year, Mrs. T. H. McMahan Sr., 76, died at 10:45 o'clock Sunday night at her home, 2421 Lipscomb Street. Funeral services will be held at the residence Tuesday, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Born in Caldwell, Nov. 12, 1850, Mrs. McMahan had spent her entire life in Texas, the last 41 years in Fort Worth. She was a member of Central Methodist Church.

Surviving her are her husband, four sons, Dr. Howard Reger, Vernon; G. J. Reger, El Paso; T. H. McMahan Jr., Dallas, and H. R. McMahan, El Paso; two daughters, Mrs. Warren Macy, Fort Worth, and Mrs. Earnest Durham, El Paso; one brother, Reger Ryan, Houston; three sisters, Mrs. Xemina Peacock, Fort Worth; Mrs. Ellie R. Lewis, Wichita Falls, and Mrs. Nannie Adkins, Brady, and seven grandchildren.
