EDWARDS, Millie J., age 96, of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Tellico Plains, passed away 10:50 A.M. Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Rockynoll Nursing Home, Akron, Ohio after a brief illness. She attended Epperson Presbyterian Church and First Baptist Church of Tellico Plains. Preceded in death by husband Forrest Edwards, son Isaac (E.L.) Peel, Parents Ike & Nettie Cantrell, brothers Frank, Robert and Kee Cantrell, sisters Addie McClain, Fannie Dockery, Mae Kelley and Margaret Hughes. Survivors-Grandson: Edward Peel, Daughter-in-law: Rosalie Peel, both of Akron, Ohio, Nieces: Aline Wade, Teresa Hyde, Beulah Hilton, Bernice Weeks, Belva Cantrell and Diana Flynn, Nephews: Wayne and Dale Hughes, James Cantrell. Funeral 7:00 P.M. Thursday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. C.M. Titlow officiating. Interment 11:00 A.M. Friday, Coker Creek Cemetery (Pines). Family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains.
