Fannie Elizabeth Gandy was the 3rd child born to John James Gandy and Mattie Maud Tatom. Born in Belton, Texas, she was named after her grandmothers: Elizabeth Ann Rogers-Gandy and Sarah Frances Moorman-Tatom.

She married Miles W. Power in Paint Rock, Texas on 20 Mar 1895. Either through death or divorce, she re-married to Bush R Henry in Paint Rock, Texas on 15 Jan, 1899.

Together she and Bush raised 8 children.
