Eva Geraldine "Geri" Castleman
WEST FRANKFORT -- Eva Geraldine Castleman, 80, died at 5:45 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, in Carrier Mills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Jan. 18, 1932, in West Frankfort, to Ervin and Mary Fleming McClintock. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked as a nurse for Union and Franklin hospitals for many years.
She married Floyd Castleman on Aug. 16, 1949, in Piggott, Ark. and he survives.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd Castleman of West Frankfort; a daughter, Nancy (Dennis) Rice of Carrier Mills; a son, Eugene (Debra) Castleman of Pleasant Grove, Ala.; grandchildren, Brett (Pam) Rice, Ryan (Carrie) Rice, Jessica (Chip) Ginn, Corey (Sarah) Rice, Megan (Chase) Campbell, Adrea (Jonathan) Morris; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Patsy Paulk of Humble, Texas; two brothers, Bill (Reba) McClintock of Wood River and Richard (Betty) McClintock of Augusta, Ga.; sister-in-law, Kaye McClintock of West Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lloyd McClintock.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, with Brother Mike Cash officiating. Interment will be in East Fork Cemetery in West Frankfort. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 17, at the funeral home.
