Son of James & Margaret Simpson; husband
of Ruth Hunter Simpson.

His obituary stated he had spent his life farming in the Liberty area and had died suddenly one afternoon while attending to
his livestock. He was also a member of Rice's Creek Baptist Church, and was described as
"a good citizen, a kind husband, and a loving father."

He was survived by his wife and seven children.

Walker's funeral was held on Tuesday,
March 18, 1941, at First Baptist Church, Liberty, conducted by Rev. C.M. Johnson
and Rev. W. A. Loudermilk.

Burial: West View Cemetery
