He was married to Miss Sarah Glenester in 1843. To them four children, Charles, Alfred, Harry and Emma, were born. Harry died in 1884. The family came to America in January 1869, and settled in Oconomowoc, Wis., where they remained about four years, removing to Nebraska in the summer of 1872, settling on a homestead four miles southeast of Geneva. Mr. Warner united with the Methodist church in Geneva a few years later. In February, 1893 he buried the wife of his early manhood.

About five years ago he was married to Julia C. Billings, who survives him. He was a man of sterling integrity and was always a hard worker. His family unites in thanking the neighbors and friends for their assistance and sympathy during his long illness.

The funeral was conducted at the Methodist church in Geneva at 2 p. m. Tuesday, July 7, by Rev. Thomas Griffiths. The interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
