Elsie Fern Stepp, 88, of Crossville, passed away Dec. 3, 2000, at Wharton Nursing Home. Funeral services were conducted Dec. 6 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens. David Wollenburg officiated.
Ms. Stepp was born June 29, 1912, in Independence, KS, the daughter of Reese and Felicia Overturf Chilecote.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her son, Robert Stepp of Crossville; daughter, Marilyn Wallace of Kansas City, KS; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Beck, Jim Cannon, Danny Cole, Steve Sappenfield, Robert Stepp and William Stepp.
Burris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
