"Walter H. Brainard, 56, of 13 1/2 Seminary St. Norwalk, died yesterday at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
A Greenwich native, he had also lived in New London, and Norwalk. He was a frmer emloye of Woodlawn Cemetery having retired because of ill health.
Survivors are a sister Mrs. Bertie Coy, of rural Norwalk; three brothers, Sam of Haydensville, Ohio, Dick of Norwalk and William H. of New London.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 pm tomorrow at Kubach-Smith Funeral Home here where rites will be at 10 am Monday. The Rev. Paul Smith, pastor of First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Fitchville Cemetery."
