A native of Spartanburg County, she was the wife of the late Jimmy T. Crowe, and the daughter of the late Max Fortenberry and Bonnie (Jordan) Fortenberry.
Survivors include two daughters, Jerry Ann Henderson and Michelle Morman; three brothers, Douglas, Ray, and Dale Fortenberry; one sister, Dot Robinson; and one grandchild.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Max Cain Fortenberry and Roy Fortenberry; and a sister, Nellie Fortenberry Mims.
Visitation was Thursday, August 9, 2012, at Forest Hills Funeral Home from 12:00 - 1:45 PM followed by a 2:00 PM Funeral Service in the Stribling Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Carrol Caldwell. Interment followed at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.
