A short time ago Mrs. Jennie Carrier residing near Cairo, in the north part of the county, had a felon on her finger. Shortly afterwards blood poisoning set in and yesterday the lady died from the effects thereof. the deceased was 49 years of age and residing with her husband and three children on a farm. She was the oldest sister of Mr. Daniel Ferguson of this city, Mr. Jas. Ferguson of Beatrice, and Mrs. Jessie Stewart, all of whom are expected here to attend the funeral, which will take place tomorrow.
