Mrs. Tursie Viola (Bixler) Wagner, wife of William Henry Wagner, 642 Baltimore street, died Sunday evening shortly after six o'clock, from the effects of a stroke of paralysis suffered some time ago. She was aged 45 years.
Mrs. Wagner was a daughter of the late Edward Lee and Ellen J. (Houck) Bixler, and was born May 6, 1890.
Surviving are her husband; six children, Raymond, Christian, Robert, Ruth and Velma Wagner, at home, and Claude Wagner, Hanover; one grandchild; seven brothers; Curby E. Bixler, Paul H. Bixler, Park S. Bixler, Clinton M. Bixler, Wilson E. Bixler, Edward J. Bixler and Roy J. Bixler, all of near Hanover, and two sisters, Mrs. Curvin G. Sterner, Smith Station, and Miss Erma M. Bixler, near Hanover.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon with services conducted at the home at 1:30 o'clock. The Rev. A. M. Hollinger, pastor of the West Manheim Lutheran charge, will officiate. Burial will be made in St. David's (Sherman's) cemetery.
