"Mr. Lynch, 70; 20-Year Member Of School Board -
David N. Lynch, 70, of the Aetna Community, who served for two decades as a member of the HIckman County Board of Education, died on Tuesday, April 19, at Hickman County Hospital following a heart attack. He was 70.
Services were held on Thursday, Aoril 21, at Mcdonald Funeral Home in Centerville. Conducted by Bros. L. C. Loveless and Van Ward, burial in Milan Cemetery followed.
A Native of Hickman County, Mr. Lynch was the husband of Lela Mae Dunn Lynch, and the son of the late William and Lova Brown Lynch. He was a member of the Aetna Church of Christ for his entire life, and was a deacon.
Mr. Lynch, who operated a sawmill, served other organizations and was a member of the board of the Hickman County Senior Citizens Center, commander of the Disabled American Veterans unit, and was an armed services veteran who served in WW II.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Juanita King of Pleasantville and Pat Kimbro of Waverly; his son, Michael Lynch of Columbia; two sisters, Florene Love of Memphis and Eva Pearl
Jenkins of Ceneterville; four brothers, Charles Lynch of Shady Grove, Roy Lynch of Farmers Exchange, Gerald Lynch of St Clair Shores, Mich., and Malcolm Lynch of Nashville, and four granchildren." (end transcription. hmh)
