He was a native of Wayne County a son of the late Edward and Fannie Eaton Abrams.
He was a member of the Methodist Church and a Navy Veteran.
Survivors include a son, Mark Harding Abrams of Jonesboro, AR; two brothers, T.R. of Lutts and Edwin Abrams of Savannah; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr Abrams, 57, of Lutts, were conducted September 17, 1980 at 11 am from Middle Tennessee Funeral Home Chapel in Collinwood with Cova Robbins officiating. Burial was in Lutts Cemetery.
