Dorothy loved walking, reading, travelling, old movies and the California she knew and loved as a child. She was a wonderful listener and despite a very difficult childhood, she was able to demonstrate compassion, love and generosity.
Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Gary Burkhart of Eagle Rock, CA and Chris Burkhart of Sunol, CA., two daughters, Elizabeth Orr of Rancho Cucamonga and Candace Scott of Mammoth Lakes, CA.
