NETAWAKA - Mrs. Mary A. Kreps, 83, Netawaka, died Tuesday night at her farm home following an extended illness.
She was born near DuBois, Neb. on Aug. 20, 1888. She moved to a farm near Hiawatha in 1926 from Beloit. In 1951, she moved to a farm near Netawaka.
Mrs. Kreps was a member of the Powhattan United Methodist Church. She was married to Perry W. Kreps on Feb. 24, 1915. He survives at the home.
Other survivors include a son, Marvin Kreps, Kansas City; 2 daughters, Mrs. Mary Olsen, Glendale, Calif., and Mrs. Mabel Brown, Wichita; 5 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be Saturday morning at Meek Mortuary. Hiawatha. Graveside services will be later Saturday at Pleasant View Cemetery, southwest of Beloit.
