Alvin Junior McCartney, of Broad Run Church Road, was born May 22, 1943 in Lewis County, son of Bryon O. and Mildred Fay Hawkins McCartney.
Surviving are sons, Larry McCartney, Kevin McCartney and Kenny (Carma) McCartney; daughter, Donna (Steve) Smith; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Arnold (Elaine) and Charles (Janie) McCartney; sisters, Carrie Bleigh, Nelma Bailey and Linda (Buddy) Walker and several nieces and nephews.
He was prceded in death by his parents.
