Charles Edward Simoneaux, 71, of Guthrie, Okla. passed away on Dec.10 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Dec. 13 in Oklahoma City with a full Military Honors provided by Tinker Air Force Base. The funeral procession was led by The Patriot Guard.

Charles was born on Jan. 7, 1939 in Port Arthur to Ravain and Cecile Simoneaux. He graduated in 1957 with the first graduating class of Bridge City High School. He was also a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents; infant brother Richard Simoneaux; and sister, Jeanette Simoneaux Tamplin.

He is survived by his wife, Wilene Simoneaux; sons, Charles Edward Simoneaux Jr. and Jeffery Simoneaux; daughter Charlotte Simoneaux; brother Sterling H. Simoneaux of Bridge City; and sister Marcella M. Simoneaux Askew of Nederland. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
