Virgie K. Bowlin, age 87, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 at Wellmont Hawkins County Memorial Hospital in Rogersville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Bowlin, and her father , William "Bill" Murrell and her mother, Neva Lawson Murrell, her brothers, Clyde and Creed Murrell, her sisters, Ruby and Rachel Murrell, Stella Cook, Arthena Buck, Dora Hood, and Nola Lamb.
She is survived by her daughter, Renie Mae Maness and husband, Rick Maness, her grandsons, Tony and Adam Cupp, and Daniel Maness, all of Rogersville. She has four , great-grandsons, sister-in-law, Lou Shirley Murrell and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, March 21, 2012, 6 to 9 p.m., at Colboch Price Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Cobbs Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at 11 p.m. with interment to follow at the Murrell Cemetery.
