Owen K. Mizell, Jr. of 3853 Trout River Blvd. died Saturday. He was a native of Waycross, Georgia and had lived here most of his life. He was a retired Locomotive Engineer with SCL Railroad, a veteran of World War II, and was a member of Riverview Lodge #306 F&AM. Survivors include his wife Mildred A. Mizell; 2 daughters, Peggy Menotte and Dorothy Sievers; one son, Robert A. Mizell; 3 sisters, Etha Carroll, Bernice Peacock and Pearl Hannah and 6 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. with Rev. Wesley Willis officiating. Interment in Edgewood Cemetery with Masonic rites at the graveside.
