Polly Jane Yates, 79, of Haysi, Va., died at the home of her son at Harman, Va., yesterday.
Survivors include seven sons, Dewey, of Haysi, Autie and Malcolm, both of Harman, Frenchman, Huffard, Irving, and Charlie, all of Prater, Va., one daughter, Mrs. Haden Stiltner, of Grundy, Stiltner Pearly, Va., Mrs. Isom Viers, of Haysi, and Mrs. John Raines, of Harmon; two brothers, Charlie Deel, of Lee Master, Va., and Bert Deel, of Viney, Va., 51 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Regular Baptist Church at Bull Creek, Va., with the Revs. Basil Bailey, F. M. Stiltner Henry Looney, and Charlie Deel in charge.
Interment will be at the Yates Cemetery at Haysi.
The body will be removed from the Virginia Funeral Home in Grundy to the residence of a son at Harman today.
