RUPERT, July 10 - (Special) - Service will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday for William Middleton Walkup, 80, of Rupert, who died at Monday noon in a Ronceverte hospital.
Rev. George W. Adams and Rev. H. C. Piercy of Rupert will officiate and burial will be in Walkup Cemetery at Kieffer. The body is at Rose Mortuary in Beckley and will be taken to the residence at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A retired farmer, Mr. Walkup was born May 15, 1871, at Kieffer.
Surviving are two sons, M. W. and Wilbur of Rupert; four daughters, Mrs. Louie Hayslett, Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Andy Moses and Mrs. Mildred McClung of Rupert, Miss Daisy Walkup, Quinwood; two brothers, Joe of Lookout and R. A. (Bob) of Kieffer; and 13 grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Thurmond, Oran, Elmer, Marvin, Cleo and Mack Walkup.
