Evelyn B. Meehan Boyette, of 112 Beechwood Drive, died Saturday, December 18, 2010.
Mrs. Boyette is survived by her daughter-in-law, Ann B. Meehan; grandson, Richard C. Meehan, Jr.; granddaughter, Melanie Meehan-Glenn; and five great-grandchildren, all of Spartanburg. She is also survived by six siblings; two stepdaughters, Barbara B. D'Orazi of Orlando, FL and Carolyn B. Lewis of Spokane, WA; one stepsons, Bill R. Boyette of Morganton, NC; sixteen step grandchildren, and 20 step great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Whitestone United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Whitestone United Methodist Church, Roofing Fund, PO Box 427, Pacolet, SC 29372.
Services were private.

Evelyn was the oldest of twelve children of her parents--Fish and Mamie Beachum. She was born in Anson Co., NC and was the oldest grandchild of Patrick Irish and Frances Pricilla Sikes Davis of the Surgartown Comm., Polkton, NC.
She was prceeded in death by brothers and sisters: Vincent Leroy Beachum, Samuel Kirkland Beachum, William Guy Beachum, Dorothy Lee Beachum Milford and Mamie Rosebud Beachum White. Her survibing silbings are: Polly Faye Beachum Pollard, Martin Herman Beachum, Davis Haywood Beachum, Vivian Ann Beachum Tyson Gore Nance, Margie Lou Beachum Drye and Elizabeth Jean Beachum Snyder Freeman.
