Obituary:

JACKSONVILLE: Funeral service for Maxine Knight Beal "Nina", 84, will be Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11 am at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel in Jacksonville, with Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6-8 pm. Mrs. Beal died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Beal Ford of Green Cove Springs, FL.; her son, Don Beal and his wife Rita of Spring Hill, TN; one sister-in-law, Betty Knight of Arlington, TX; four grandsons, Spencer Ford, Davin Ford and his wife Valorie, Matt Beal and MAJ Joe Beal and his wife Dana; five great grandchildren, Aubrey Lynn Ford, Zane Alexander Ford, Joey Beal, Andrew Beal and Joshua Beal; several nieces and nephews; and two very special caregivers, Stacey Hurtie and Tabetha Borrell.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mrs. Beal was a member of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville and enjoyed doing arts and crafts in her spare time. She loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Beal; her brother, Don Knight; and her parents, Wesley and Annie Knight.
